Mary McCall, Project Designer
Mary McCall joined Wolf Josey in 2016 after earning her Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. She holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After graduation, working with the Dean of the School of Architecture, she received a National ASLA Design award for work on Michelle Obama’s White House Kitchen Garden alongside a small group of students and faculty from UVA. The project was installed on the White House grounds and dedicated in early October, 2016.
Prior to Charlottesville, Mary worked for five years as a builder and Construction Site Superintendent in the Bay Area, California. A love of making and material properties continues to influence her design work. When not designing, she is playing Ultimate Frisbee.
Currently at Wolf | Josey, she is working on the President’s House at Carr’s Hill, a new bicycle bar and various gardens throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
