Taking advantage of the natural topography and orientation of the site, the terraced garden is comprised of a pair of level stepped terraces.  The level lawn terrace is centered on the house and backed by a fieldstone hearth with crushed stone paving.  The grove terrace features an allee of little leaf linden with shaded seating and space for dining al fresco.

Though the property sold, the new owner continued to work with Wolf Josey on the lower lawn terrace, including the pool and planted slope.
