Wolf Josey is a full service landscape architecture firm with wide-ranging project experience.
We lead our own projects and collaborate on teams from concept development through construction oversight. Through thoughtful research and design, we seek to give each project a sense of optimism, context, craft and stewardship to each project.

TREE + SOIL FRAMEWORK PLANS
Wolf Josey is a leader in tree and soil-centric planning and design. Our innovative Framework Plans analyze existing conditions and character to develop strategies for sustaining and expanding tree canopy.
We design climate-resilient planting palettes, soil profiles, tree-adjacent design detailing, and maintenance approaches that are tailored to reinforce each site's design sensibility.

Each landscape is shaped by interwoven ecological and cultural forces, and our research-driven process translates place-based histories into compelling spaces. Wolf Josey brings a sensitivity gained through extensive experience working with historic landscapes to all of our projects.
PLANTING DESIGN
We are recognized for narrative-driven and ecologically responsive planting design.
Through rigorous site analysis and collaboration with key caretakers, we craft plantings that are as beautiful as they are pragmatic. We develop detailed care plans that envision a garden's evolution and illustrate key maintenance practices.
